A farmer and his wife and daughter lived on a farm very far from city.
They knew nothing about the city and the modern advancements of the time.
One day the farmer said to his wife and daughter, "Let's go to the big
city, and see what it is like!" So off they went.
They were walking down a street and looked with wonderment at the tall
buildings which they had never seen before. They followed some people
into one of the buildings and the father and daughter followed a woman
to what looked like a sliding door. They noticed the woman, who was
rather ugly, put her finger on a small button near the door and the
button lit up. Then the door opened and the woman who was very ugly
walked into a very small room and the door closed.
The farmer and daughter thought what was happening was very strange.
They noticed some lights at the top of the door light up. First 1
then 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10. Then they noticed the lights come on again,
10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1. Then the sliding door opened again and a gorgeous
woman walked out of the small room. The farmer took one look at the
gorgeous woman and said to his daughter, "Quick, go get your mother!"
