Letter from the Bishop of the Diocese of Alleppey, Kerala, India for our Franciscan Family Apostolate.
My dear Friends,
I want to thank you wholeheartedly for the big sacrifice you make to
support our poor and destitute families. May the Lord reward you with His
peace.
It gives me very great joy to say that many of the poor in this diocese, whom you support are improving their poverty-stricken condition. Some of them have started shops, others have started coir yarn spinning and others income-generating enterprises. Some have educated their children so much so that they are slowly improving their miserable state of life. Others have managed to get small little houses built under the supervision of Sr. Carmel Paul.
The poor people over here are very grateful to you for the help you give. In return they pray to almighty God, the giver of all gifts, to bless you and your family with good health, good weather, employment and success in all your undertakings.
Yours sincerely in Our Lord,
Bishop Peter M. Chenaparampil, Bishop of Alleppey
